Stirling Triathlete Wins Sprint
The 2007 Aberfeldy Sprint Distance Triathlon part of the tritahlonscotland national ranking series, hosted by Perth and Kinross Leisure and based at Aberfeldy Recreation Centre on 5 August, provided an exciting day's racing.
The event began with a 750m swim followed by a gruelling 20km cycle and lastly a 5km run. The men’s evolved into a 3 way battle with Graeme Scobie, Stuart Fraser, and Gregor Grant of Ayrodynamics. Stuart Fraser proved to be the stronger runner and he eased himself into first place just in front of Scobie, a mere 53 seconds separated them, with Grant joining them on the podium a minute and a half later. |
