Christine MacLennan became the first lady from Aberfeldy Bowling Club to reach the Scottish Women’s Bowling Association National Championship Finals held in Ayr this year.
She is pictured here playing the final end with the scores tied at 20 all. Christine played her final bowl and drew to within 8 inches of the jack to lie shot.

Her oppenent, Helen Kenny from Chirnside Bowling Club, had one bowl left and managed to draw just inside Christine’s bowl to win.
