Young Aberfeldy Gymnasts Shine
Aberfeldy Gymnast Club continues its successes. Towards the end of last year three competitions were held in Bells Sports Centre in Perth involving the youngsters.
In the Foundation Competition (wearing the blue leotards), Rosie Harrison-Flower (pictured below in back row, centre) gained a gold medal in the 12+ age group. Congratulations Rosie.
In the Perth & Kinross Beginners’ competition, our girls swept the board gaining the Gold and Bronze positions. Sarah Cowan and Sophie Corrigan took joint Gold medal and Jordan Jones the Bronze medal in the 8/9 age group. They also received Merit certificates, along with Emily Crow in the 8/9 age group. |

Harriet Lawson gained the Silver medal and a Merit certificate in the 10/11 age group.
Any gymnast who achieves a Merit automatically progresses to the Intermediate section. Congratulations to all these girls and ‘well done’ to all the gymnasts who took part in the competitions, everyone worked extremely hard and produced some excellent routines.
