Kenmore Curlers' Continued Success

At the recent AGM and closing Bonspeil (won by Jean Woolley’s Rink) the Club was able to look back on a season in which a Junior Squad had been established and some very satisfactory results had been achieved om the ice.
The highlights had been a quarter finals place in the Provincial Championships and the winning of the Breadalbane Province Cup, League and Closing Bonspeil. To add to these successes Gavin Dott (overall winner) and Peter Smith (Best Junior) triumphed in the individual Province Points Tournament.

Underpinning all this were the Club’s vibrant and keenly contested internal competitions including the Club Pairs (won by Gareth Palmer and Bob Woolley), the Kenmore Challenge and Club League (won by George Dark’s Rink) and the Club Cup which went to a rink skipped by Peter Ely.
Prizes for the winners of these competitions were provided courtesy of Dewars World of Whisky, and the Club gratefully acknowledges that generosity.
The Club welcomes new members and offers coaching for beginners with a sponsorship scheme for juniors. Further details from Peter Ely (secretary) on 01887 830849
