Hurrah for Harriet

Harriet Lawson competed in her first ever equestrian vaulting competition this year. After starting vaulting with Pegasus Vaulting Group in January, she took part in her first competition at the end of March.

She competed on the barrel, which is a practice horse and did a sequence of moves that she made up by herself. She did really well, wining a 5th rosette out of 21 competitors.

Pegasus Vaulting Group also gave a demonstration at Aberfeldy show.

Harriet was very brave and managed to stand one legged (right) on Kirsty MacWilliams’s shoulders.

Harriet has been practising hard all summer and has her next competition in October where she will be performing her individual freestyle in walk.
