Bowling Season Starts Mid April

The AGM of the Aberfeldy Bowling Club was held in the Club House on 14 January 2007. The Match Secretary reported that the Club ha a reasonable season in friendly matches, it had again won the North Perthshire League and had some success in Open Competitions.

The Treasurer went through the audited accounts, which showed the Club to be in a healthy financial position.

The main office bearers were then elected, President Peter Woolley, Vice President Douglas Craik, Treasurer Peter Wolley, Secretary Isla Duncan and Match Secretary Dan Nimmo.

The other business of the meeting was then dealt with.

Season Start

Opening Day would be Saturday 14 April at 2.30pm. Rink Nights would be held on a Wednesday evening, although some would need to be moved as the North Perthshire League had decided that its fixture would be held on a Wednesday.

Subscriptions were fixed at £35 and £30 for seniors. New members would be very welcome, coaching could be given to those who felt they would benefit from it.

The club’s season opens on Saturday 14 April at 2.30pm. New members are welcome and coaching is given.
